Adjustments

Adjustments

Introduction

There will be times when information provided either by the WMS or the client is incorrect or flawed in some way. Typically, these issues stem from the dimensions on the shipping label and the physical package dimensions being different. Or, an item's weight is not correct on the shipping label thus the package is heavier than expected. Either of these issues will cause the shipper to make a cost adjustment to the label to correct for the bad data. The table below will show the corrected data and the additional cost incurred.

Notes
The adjustment will apply to the meter at the exact time the adjustment was received by RocketFuel

The table shows the Tracking Number and the various weights and dimensions used to ship the package. If there was an issue with the package, there will be a line added to this table showing the original value and the values the carrier calculated.

Note: Object # refers to either Shipment ID or Order ID, depending on which record was adjusted. Click the Object # to view the record details.

Record Details

The Adjustment details will appear within the record.  Noticed the red text callouts for changes reported by the carrier.
