Introduction
The Financial Payments page will provide an overview of your account, provide options for payment, and display past payment history. This article will outline each section, including setting up a payment method.
Adding Payment Method
Upon logging into RocketFuel, you'll want to add your payment option along with the Recharge Threshold and Recharge Amount. Multiple payment methods can be added on RocketFuel. If the first payment method fails, the second payment method would then be charged.
On the Financials page, navigate to the Payment Options Section.
Select the 'Add Payment Option'. The 3PL has outline which payment methods are accepted. Select the method you'd like to add and proceed to fill out the payment information.
Automatic Recharge Threshold and Amount
Select the 'Change Recharge Options' button
Confirm that the ‘Recharge Threshold’ and ‘Recharge Amount’ are set to desired value.
- When the balance drops below the refill threshold, an automatic refill payment will be made for the refill amount
- To avoid excessive charges, the refill amount should be greater than the average daily shipment amount
- Your average daily shipment amount will be displayed in the popup.
- Recharge Threshold allows you to determine the minimum amount of resources left in the shipping account before the automatic refill launches.
- Recharge Amount allows you to set the maximum refill amount added to the account once the Recharge Threshold is reached. This amount will be added to the account each time the threshold is met.
Manual Refill
RocketFuel also allows you to add a non reoccurring refill. This can help in preparation of large sales to avoid multiple recharges in a short period of time.
Account Overview
The Account Overview displays the financial health of your account.
Payment History
Payment History table will display your previous successful and failed payments. This table can be searched, filtered by date, and sorted by each column. The table can also be exported by CSV.
Failed Transactions
If the transaction failed, either from a Refill or Recharge, the log will display a 'Failed' transaction type. If a failed transaction is shown on the transaction table, please reach out to the financial institution for assistance.
Charges
Charges to your meter that are not shipments will be displayed on the Charges page, located under the Financials menu section. These charges impact your meter at the date associated with the charge. This table can be filtered, sorted, and searched.
